Jennifer Curtis

RIE® Associate Jennifer Curtis was first introduced to the teachings of Magda Gerber by her Montessori mentor in 1997. Over the years to follow, while classroom teaching, then as a school director, teacher trainer, professional nanny and community-based service provider, the Educaring Approach continually informed her practice and elevated her relationships with children and adults, alike. In 2015, Jennifer embraced a long-held dream of professionally sharing the Educaring Approach with others and became a RIE Associate in 2022. With an enduring passion for promoting the importance of primary relationships from birth, Jennifer provides nurturing, respectful, holistic support and guidance for families in the perinatal year and beyond through Heartful Birth. She offers classes for parents and professionals in her beautiful Novato classroom, as well as private family support and program consulting in Marin and Sonoma Counties. Jennifer is also a DONA-Certified Birth Doula, Certified Instructor of Infant Massage, and credentialed Montessori ECE teacher.
